And secondly, we’ll discuss some essential qualities to seek out in a personal trainer. What are some things I should look for in a gym?

4. Passion

 

A great personal trainer will be passionate about what they do. They’re invested, not just in their own fitness, but fully invested in you achieving your fitness goals. An effective and positive approach will not only keep you motivated, but quicker than you will realize, it will have rubbed off on you too!

5. Focus

 

Be sure you choose a trainer that isn’t standing there commenting on your form that they’re not seeing because they’re replying to a text message or checking social media.

6. Certified

 

This one is self-explanatory. Be sure they have the credentials and knowledge to contribute to your fitness success. 

7. You enjoy their company

 

You’re going to be spending a lot of time with this person. You should enjoy the time you do spend together. Plus, they’re going to be the one you’re depending on to hold you accountable, as well as push you to achieve your goals.
